AIR wants you to pitch the PERFECT PITCH at Third Coast!

Hello friends and colleagues –
I’m announcing two panels sponsored by AIR to be held at the Third Coast Festival. They’re called PERFECT PITCH and they will pull back the curtain on one of the most difficult and important things every producer needs to master: pitching a story.
Seven panelists - editors and producers from a wide variety of programs - have agreed to hear pitches in open session. We’re trying to expand opportunities this year and we’re pleased to offer new options: with NPR’s successful digital platform, NPR Music on-line; plus, a chance to collaborate with the Kitchen Sisters. Here is the full roster with details about how to get involved.

Send your story pitch to me at pitch@airmedia.org and include the following information:
1. What program/producer you are pitching to (I can help you with this)
2. Concise and elegantly-worded description of your story idea – under 200 words.
3. Clear and thoughtful description of how it will sound, what audio elements you will include.
4. Tell me if you have more than five years experience or less than five.
5. Your contact info - before and during the conference.
If you would like to bring some audio to your pitch, please do. Put it on a cd and keep it to one minute, please.
